The idea behind Birth Guides

Simple Guides for Peace of Mind

Less overwhelm for foggy minds

Your pregnant brain is behaving differently, making it harder to retain and process information. All guides have been designed with that insight in mind.

Accessible content

Through simple explanations and accompanied by illustrations, it is aimed to make complex topics easy and build confidence along the way. For both, visual learners, auditory learners, and readers.

Summarised information

Birth Guides is both a great starting point for birth preparations and a summary of all your preparation efforts. Having all the topics in one place will give you peace of mind.

Designed for everyone

All guides have been designed with & for, to-be parents. It is an open and generic approach to birth that considers both home and hospital births. Reviewed by midwives.
Designed & created by

When I was preparing for birth, I felt super overwhelmed by the amount of information to process. There are many wordy books and elaborate courses available, but my foggy pregnancy brain needed a simple summary. I could not find one, so I started my own.

Frequently asked questions

Specific Situations

I have not created any guides that tailor to specific situations such as twins, planned c-sections, VBAC or breech. I hope to do so in the future, but for now you will not find any information about these situations on this platform. Consult your midwife or medical team for tailored guidance.

Medical Indication

The principles discussed on Birth Guides are universally relevant, and not bound to a location. When you have a medical indication, you will still need to go through the process of giving birth. So yes, also with a Medical Indication and giving birth in Hospital Settings you will benefit from the contents.

Birth Guides VS Child Birth Course

Birth Guides is an information platform, aimed to provide you with the basics of birth. Use it to get familiar with what is coming your way, and it will even help you to pick a Childbirth course that really fits your world and context.

Money Back Guarantee

All my guides have been created in close collaboration with to-be parents. That is part of my design process. If in any case you are not finding what you are looking for here, let me know with your feedback and you will get your money back instantly. Feedback is the foundation of this platform!
