How breathing adds up to being prepared

Collecting skills to achieve a more positive experience.
That is your goal.
Let me show you how.
What I want you to know

The secret to a more positive experience is your state of mind.

The more relaxed your state of mind, the better you support your body. When you feel calm, confident, and in control, your body can progress more easily during labor. You’re working with your body, not against it.

Once you understand this, preparation becomes simpler. And the best part? There are proven ways to reach that relaxed state—it’s not rocket science. But it only works if you’re committed to the process. It’s not just about learning some skills; it’s about deciding to take action. Choose your tools, practice, and you’ll thank yourself when the time comes.

The better skills you develop, the more at ease you wil feel.

Start collecting your skills. It's easier than you think.

Your goal? Building a relaxed state of mind—because a relaxed mind supports oxytocin, the hormone that moves labor forward. Stress, on the other hand, triggers adrenaline, which can slow progress and make contractions harder.

The good news? It’s easier than you think. But a relaxed state of mind doesn’t just happen—it’s something you have to invest in.
  • Knowledge to understand your options and what’s ahead.
  • Mindset to trust your ability and work through fears.
  • Relaxation techniques to stay calm and keep hormones flowing.
  • Movement to support your body and keep labor progressing.
By focusing on these elements, you’re doing the work now to show up ready for your experience—with a flexible mindset and a solid toolbox to guide you through any moment.
